Man findet ihn in fast jedem Projekt wo Garn, Faden oder \u00c4hnliches eingesetzt wird. Und das aus gutem Grund. Er ist n\u00e4mlich wirklich wundersch\u00f6n und ist in vielen Farbvarianten erh\u00e4ltlich.<\/p>\n<p>Trotzdem wollte ich gerne meine eigene Variante eines zweifarbigen oder mehrfarbigen Fadens erstellen. Unter anderem auch deswegen, weil ich einiges an Material habe, das sich daf\u00fcr einfach toll eignet. W\u00e4re ja schade wenn es unbenutzt in der Ecke liegt, nur weil ihm die Streifchen fehlen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Everyone who is interested in DIY have seen it: the striped thread. You find it in every project that has something to do with thread or anything similar. The reason? It\u00b4s really lovely and you get it in almost every color.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Anyway I wanted to make my own version of a two- or more colored striped thread. Among other things I have a huge pile of material that is perfect for a DIY-Project like this. Ich habe mich bem\u00fcht beim Wickeln jede Schlaufe neben die andere zu legen und den Faden m\u00f6glichst nicht in mehreren Lagen \u00fcbereinander zu wickeln. Die Fadenl\u00e4nge kann man dabei selbst entscheiden.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">In the first step you have to wrap the thread around the wooden board. I tried to wrap each new thread loop beside the other and not to overlay them. Je nach Fadensorte sitzt die Farbe auf dem Faden oder wird sofort vom Faden absorbiert und verteilt sich in diesem.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">In the second step you take your brush and just paint some stripes on your wrapped thread. Der rosafarbene Faden hat die Tusche ziemlich schnell weggesaugt und es entstanden breitere schwarze Abschnitte. Beim gr\u00fcnlichen Faden ebenso, nur das hier der Gro\u00dfteil der Tusche in der Mitte geblieben ist und nach links und rechts der schwarzen Streifen ein gr\u00e4ulicher Schleier zur Seite hin ausl\u00e4uft. Beim braunen Faden blieb die Tusche auf dem Faden sitzen und musste erst mit dem Pinsel ein wenig eingearbeitet werden.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">You can see the diference of the result. The pink thread absorbed the ink very quickly and it spread. The greenish thread absordbed it too but most of the ink stayed in the middle and the rest formed some greyish parts right and left of the black stripe. Wenn man, wie ich, einen l\u00e4ngeren Abschnitt Faden bearbeitet hat, l\u00e4sst er sich sch\u00f6n auf W\u00e4scheklammern aufrollen und so verwahren bis er gebraucht wird.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">When the ink is dry you can unwrap everything and use your new striped thread. Damit die neuen prachtvollen Streifen auch gut zur Geltung kommen, habe ich den Faden mehrmals um das Geschenk gewickelt und beim Wickeln etwas Abstand gelassen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">I tested my pink &#8222;zebrathread&#8220; on a little gift. Und wer m\u00f6chte, kann Breite und Abstand der Streifen innerhalb eines Fadens variieren.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">It\u00b4s a nice alternation to the industrially striped thread.
